So I'm taking a journalistic drawing class where the focus is to draw from life, out in real-world situations--in the way that a photographer would take pictures to record an event. So.. you try to get the setting, any details that catch your eye, anything that's going on that's important... etc., etc. You have to work really quickly and you can't really spare a lot of time looking at your paper (or something that you're trying to draw will change)
It's difficult, but this is the first time I felt like I made some progress.
